Stuck in my little corner of h-e-...
So no Ottawa trip for me... unfortunately the last day of classes ran long. So instead I got drunk and played poker... badly. Some random thoughts over the past couple of days...
RIP Maggie Dixon. What an awful, awful tragedy.
Mike Weir is only 5 back, Stephen Ames 6 back... and with the way the course is playing, you never know when people will come crashing down.
Get well soon A.J.... the Jays could really use you...
... but if they keep mashing, maybe you have a little while.
Felix Hernandez is the man (though a run or two in support might help)... just goes to show you that if you want something bad enough and your heart is pure... miracles can happen.
Not that I want the Canucks to fail, but it's time for that team to be dismantled. Actually, it's time for Marc Crawford to go first. Then Todd Bertuzzi... and who knows, maybe even Markus Naslund (since he'll probably cry when Bert leaves).
I can't believe I'm actually wishing a plan into motion where my team's top line will be two-thirds Sedin and one-third garbage goals.
Why can't Jeff Francis throw strikes anymore?
Please Mr. Colangelo, get yourself a real point guard this summer... and see what you can get for "I'm Mike James, Bitch" while you're at it.
Finally, to all three Florida sophmores who want to repeat in the NCAA's... good luck. If you're serious about this, Joakim Noah, enjoy getting drafted 20 spots lower next year. Though I guess he's ok for money...
